How to: Create a footnote.
Solution:
Select the 'Insert' menu and select 'Footnote...'. Type the text in the window at the bottom of the screen.
1) Position the insertion point where the check box note mark is to appear.
2) Select the 'Insert' menu and select 'Footnote...'. (The Footnote dialog box appears.)
3) Select the 'Footnote' radio button in the 'Insert' group.
4) Click 'OK'. (The screen splits. The top half is the actual document and the bottom half is the check box note window.)
5) Type the check box note text in the check box note window.
6) Click 'Close'.
